Activate Your Tribal Tapestry DNA Kit

Welcome to your ancestral journey. You’ve received your Tribal Tapestry DNA Kit—now it’s time to activate it and begin uncovering the powerful story written in your DNA.

Why Activation Is Important

Activating your kit ensures we can accurately track your DNA sample and deliver your results securely and on time. Without activation, we won’t be able to process your results.

What You’ll Need Before You Begin:

  • Your Tribal Tapestry DNA Kit
  • The Order Form and Consent Form (included in the kit)
  • A smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access

How to Activate Your Kit

1. Go to: 👉 www.tribaltapestry.com/activate

2. Complete the online form: Enter your contact information, the barcode or kit ID (found inside your kit), and answer a few quick questions.

3. Collect Your DNA Sample:

  • Open the first cheek swab without touching the soft tip.
  • Rub it firmly inside one cheek, rotating gently for 60 seconds.
  • Insert the cotton tip into the vial, snap at the marked line, and seal tightly.
  • Repeat with the second swab on the other cheek.

📦 Package Your Kit

  • Place both sealed vials into the plastic bag and seal it.
  • Place the plastic bag, Order Form, and Consent Form into the prepaid envelope.
  • Seal the envelope securely and mail your kit as instructed.

📦 Next Steps: Mail Your Kit

After activation:

  • Collect your DNA sample (if you haven’t already). Be sure not to eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum for at least 30 minutes beforehand.
  • Place the sealed vials inside the provided plastic bag.
  • Enclose your completed Order Form and Consent Form in the kit box.
  • Seal the kit box securely.
  • Affix postage (if applicable) and drop it off at your nearest post office.

📅 What to Expect After Mailing

  • You’ll receive an email once your sample arrives at the lab.
  • Results are typically ready within 4–8 weeks.
  • You’ll get access to your secure online portal to explore your full ancestry report, connect with your tribe, and unlock exclusive perks.
